Elite One: Fauve Azur Bash Fortuna In 6 – Goal Thriller

Fauve Azur Elite have continued their early season form with a complete thrashing of As Fortuna in group B of game 6 in the Elite One championship.

It was goals galore before the break. Former Bamboutos man Hansi Muller Mbappe scored at the 11th minute to give the Faya boys the lead.

Seko extended the lead for coach Essomba’s lads at the 16th minute, just before Fortuna halved deficit through Massi. Two – one the first half ended.

The second half was much more thrilling as Miyidi crawled another goal back for Fortuna. But on a late surge to try and get an equalizer, Kegne sealed the victory for Fauve Azur in added on time (90+1) to make it 4-2 for Fauve Azure.

Fauve Azur are second placed in group B with 12 points, 3 behind leaders Bamboutos FC.
