Elite One: Gazelle Records Historic Point Against Dragon FC

Gazelle Football Academy recorded its first point ever in the Elite One Championship after a one – all tie at the Olembe Stadium Annex A on Sunday, October 16.

The Garoua outfit poked their noses ahead as early as the 20th minute, with Calice D’or gifting the newbies a cushion.

Coach Alioum Kada and his side were headed for all three points, what would have made their start to the big time a little more spicy, but they had their work cut out.

Having led for chunks of the game, goalkeeper Marcelin Bahbi conceded at the 70th minute. Beko Chris climbed off the bench to bring the game all square for Dragon FC.

Gazelle FA will look to continue the sizzling drive that pushed them from the regional championship to the Elite one within two seasons, when they meet Les Astres over the weekend.
