Elite One: Inconsistent PWD Lose To Djiko FC
PWD of Bamenda would only have themselves to blame after match day 7 of the MTN Elite One as they lost 1-0 to Djiko FC at the Bandjoun Municipal Stadium.
The Abakwa Boys were on the back of a huge win against Aigle on Match day 6, but just like previous game days, they couldn’t follow the victory up.
The lone goal of the game came in the first half courtesy Isaac Landry Bakinde. PWD has picked up 6 points from 6 games played so far, a record below par for this year’s representatives at the preliminaries of the CAF Confederations Cup.
Coach Nseme will have to fix the puzzle after the World Cup break but for now, the 2020 Elite One champions are drowning in their inability to keep a winning streak and avoid defeats.
