Elite One: New Low As Cotonsport Lose To Avion

Back in Cameroon after successive CAF Champions League games, Cotonsport of Garoua continued their losing streak against Avion of Nkam.

On an advanced game day of the MTN Elite one, the Cottonittes lost 1-0 thanks to a magnificent goal from Jules Meyo at the entrance to the surface.

After the victory in Yaoundé last week against Colombe, Avion continues to climb in the standings. With 18 points on the clock, they are provisionally 8th.

Coton, astonishingly are placed in mid-table though with some delayed games left in group A.

Gabriel Haman’s men are on a six game losing streak since their last win recorded last Month against Renaissance of Ngoumou.

With 20 points, Cotonsport are now in 4th place in Group A behind UMS of Loum, Canon of Yaoundé and Aigle of the Menoua.
