Elite One: No Kemajou, No Problem As Ina’s Bamboutos Beat 10-Man Apejes

Bamboutos FC of Mbouda are at this early stages unstoppable, and they are sort of playing in a league of their own after snapping their fourth straight 3 points in group B, against Apejes Football club.

Despite the absence of skipper – Djoufack, Kibyen and 3-goal striker Kemajou, Koupit Mani rose to the occasion by bagging a brace, as the Mangwa Boys defeated 10-man Apejes .

The winger was voted man of the match and quite rightly so, after a goal in each half.

Koupit, playing his third season at the club scored at the 32nd minute of the game before completing his double from the spot at the 65th minute.

Goalkeeper Munya Benjamin was equally at his best for the Mangwa Boys, as coach Ina Ngassa and his lads look to break the barricade and win their first ever championship, after claiming its first silverware (superrcup) a fortnight ago against Cotonsport.

For Apejes meanwhile, they early season syndrome of starting on a low is what is still obtaining this season.
