Elite One: Renaissance Ties For Nothing Against Renard

With Renaissance on standby on match day 1, they have entered the race of this year’s championship with a fair zero-all result against Stade Renard.

It was on the occasion of match day two of the MTN Elite One, at the Ngoa Ekelle Stadium, in one of the several games in group A.

Stade Renard themselves came from a 2-1 victory over UMS of Loum, but the 2019 Cameroon cup champions couldn’t break a solid Renaissance defense in 90 minutes.

Having narrowly escaped relegation last season, Renaissance FC are looking to stay one more season in the top flight, while for Stade Renard, one will imagine that coach Olivier Nankam and his charges will be gunning for a place in the top half or aim for the trophy.
