Elite One: Several Referees Suspended Again For Alleged Match Fixing

The Central Commission of Referees at the FECAFOOT headquarters has made public the suspensions of referees in Elite One.

There is a refereeing crisis in the professional championships of Cameroon. Several matches are marred by questionable decisions by the referees that distort the results, whether in Elite One or Elite Two.

Fans have kept wondering what purpose served the referees course organised at the beginning of the month in Mbankomo with Eddie Maillet, the former boss of CAF referees.

The Central Referees Committee decided to temporarily suspend some referees and assistant referees “for serious breaches in the performance of their duties”.

Some officials of the Stade Renard – Renaissance FC matches counting for the 13th day, UMS of Loum – PWD of Bamenda of the 14th day and Gazelle FA at Dragon FC counting for the 12th day have been provisionally suspended and the note signed by Stéphane Foko Kamga, chairman of the central commission of referees, was posted in the social networks of FECAFOOT including:SOULEYMANOU BAH, BIEL KOLONDO, TALLA FOKAM and KAMGA TIEMO
