Elite One: Souaibou Garnishes Ballon D’or With ‘Golden Goal’ Against Djiko

Just hours after quite rightly winning the most prestigious personal accolade in the land, Cotonsport’s Marou Souaibou struck from the spot as his side picked all three points in an advanced day 4 clash in Bandjoun, against Djiko FC.

Several players popped in late for Cotonsport, including Marou Souaibou, who was returning from the nation’s capital where he and two others attended the Ballon D’or ceremony.

Looking at the dynamics of the game, Souaibou got the nod and entered in the second half.
