Elite One & Two: Relegation And Championship Playoffs Calendar Released

The Cameroonian Football Federation has made public a programming of the Play-offs matches, both in Elite One and Elite Two.

The Play-offs to determine the Elite One champion for the 2020-2021 season will be played in Yaounde, particularly in the Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium and its annexes. The posters see games pitting AS Fortuna against Apejes of Mfou and Coton Sport of Garoua against Fovu of Baham. These games will be played on September 15th.

The winners will meet in the final, on September 18, 2021, to determine the champion of Cameroon. On the same day, the losing teams will be involved in play down games.

For the play-down matches to be maintained in the Elite One, Eding Sport of Lekie will pit Tonnerre Kalara Club of Yaounde, on September 16, at the annex stadium in Olembe. The team which emerges victorious from this battle will be maintained in Elite One.
In Elite Two, the Play-offs, for the champion of the season, will take place, on the same dates as those of the Elite One, but at the Japoma Annex stadium. Renaissance of Ngoumou will face OFTA of Kribi and Racing of Bafoussam will play against Fauve Azur. The winners will play the final for the Elite Two championship title, and the losers will play in a ranking game.

The Elite Two playoffs wi be between Foncha Street and Lion Blesse on September 16, at the Japoma annex stadium.

These Play-offs games are however subject to modifications, because of the cases still pending before the Cameroonian court of sports
