Elite Two: Unisport Seals Deal With Porto Holding Group

A new impetus is blowing through Cameroonian football courtesy the 2022 World Cup currently taking place in Qatar, with Cameroonian club presidents present in the occasion.

The president of Unisport du Haut Nkam – Donald Ngameni, has grabbed the opportunity not just to enjoy the jamboree, but prob for sponsorship deals.

As part of a desires nursed by the President of FECAFOOT to see local clubs establish partnerships with Qatari companies, the Cameroonian football governing body had financed the trip of club presidents.

The initiative already seems to be bearing fruit since Unisport have announced an agreement with the company Porto Holding group for the financing of the construction of an ultra-modern training center of the Elite Two club.

The center will also include accommodation, i.e. 38 furnished rooms (376,625,000 million FCFA). Mohamed Ben Khalifa, the Porto Holding Group construction manager, and the president of Unisport sealed their alliance on Monday as part of this project initiated by Doha Bank.

Representatives of the Qatari company will be in Cameroon from January 8 to 28 to make the first assessments. The laying of the first stone will take place in February 2023.
