Eto’o Comes Clean On One All Sports Contract

Guest of an exclusive interview on Canal 2 international on Tuesday, November 8, Samuel Eto’o, the president of FECAFOOT finally revealed the amount that new kit manufacturers, One All Sports will pay for kitting the intomidate Lions.

Football lovers were glued to their screen sets as FECAFOOT boss, Samuel Eto’o did a run down of his one year in office, including important details.

Until this point, terms of most FECAFOOT contracts were not known, including the most recent with One All Sports.

Host, Rodrigue Tongué quizzed Eto’o on the amount that One All Sports will give to the Cameroonian Football Federation.

Eto’o handed a document to Rodrigue Tongué to read out loud a press release with the terms.

“As part of the execution of this agreement, the new equipment manufacturer will pay the sum of one billion FCFA per year to the Cameroonian Football Federation, i.e. a total of 3 billion at the contractual deadline set. . The partnership also includes the supply of equipments worth one million euros per year for the national selections and a Vip bus for the Indomitable Lions,” read Rodrigue Tongué through Samuel Eto’o’s phone.

Samuel Eto’o explained that this amount had not yet been revealed because “the partners of One All Sports, were still in discussions with other teams and other selections,and did not want the figures to be known.

“There is nothing that pushes me to reveal these figures now, I just wanted to be honest with Cameroonians. Some people thought that FECAFOOT had things to hide,” added Samuel Eto’o.

Eto’o explained other issues regarding his one year tenure so far, including the reason for wanting to increase mandates from four to seven years, due to the demands of the executive committee.
