Eto’o Lauds Organization Of Draws – “Congratulations COCAN, Well Done Ministry Of Sports”

Hours after an exquisite showcase of craft, skill and know – how in the organization of Africa’s topmost tourney (AFCON), the country’s all time highest goal – scorer has visited the Ministry of sports to appreciate their fine work of art.

Samuel Eto’o having assisted in the draws took out time to discuss with the Minister of Sports and Physical Education – Narcisse Mouelle Kombi, who doubles as the COCAN president, today August 18.

Eto’o had a lengthy talk with Minister Narcisse Mouelle Kombi on how good the AFCON draws was.

“Congratulations COCAN, well done to the ministry of sports. I had former teammates giving me a good feedback. We made the continent proud,” Eto’o opined.

“in battles, we need to go with a certain confidence – but then, it remains sports. In sports, everything is possible. We will work to ensure that my younger brothers are ready to go.

“We have to keep the solidarity that characterise Cameroonians, so we can assist our young ones to do all in their powers so that the trophy remains home.

“The AFCON should be the start of another thing worth noting by other generations who will come afterwards.” The former Barcelona man concluded, stating that Cameroon doesn’t need to end at next year’s jamboree, but envisage other top tournaments.

After 50 years, the rest of the continent was startled at how organized the ceremony of the AFCON draws turned out.

All is said and done. Fast forward to January 9, the Indomitable Lions will face Burkina Faso in the opener of the competition, in the city of Yaounde, Cameroon’s capital.
