Eto’o Presented To The San Siro Faithfuls

FECAFOOT president, Samuel Eto’o Fils was inducted on Friday into the Hall of Fame of Inter as he watched from the sidelines the match that pitted Inter against Salernitana.

Samuel Eto’o was inducted into the “Hall of Fame” of Inter Milan, the Italian club in which he played between 2009 and 2011, notably winning the Champions League, Serie A and Italian Cup treble, but had to receive his award in person.

This ceremony took place at the San Siro Stadium minutes before the match between Inter and Salernitana.

The Cameroonian legend was alongside Marco Materazzi, Wesley Sneijder and Gianluca Pagliuca, three other emblematic figures of the club. After receiving this distinction, Samuel Eto’o was given a standing ovation by the supporters present in the stands.

During his time at the club, Samuel Eto’o made 102 appearances scoring 53 goals and winning 6 trophies. “Thank you to Inter for the incredible honor of having me inducted into the Hall of Fame of Inter 2021”, aired the president of Fecafoot.
