Eto’o Returns To Inter As A Legend

FECAFOOT boss Samuel Eto’o has been granted the highest sphere of recognition at Inter Milan.

Indeed, the Italian club announced on Sunday Eto’o’s induction into its Hall of Fame.

The former Cameroonian centre-forward made his way to the history books for the Nerazzurri team, with whom he won the treble in 2010; winning the championship, the Italian Cup and the Champions League.

He is the fourth striker included in the hall of fame along with; Ronaldo, Giuseppe Meazza and Diego Milito, completing the squad of former players nominated for 2021 after Gianluca Pagliuca, Marco Materazzi and Weslej Snejider.

Samuel Eto’o, “the Lion King” as he was nicknamed in Italy, was always on his way to this achievement.

With 102 appearances in Inter’s kit, he scored 53 goals and accumulated 6 titles.

The current president of the Cameroonian Football Federation as of Sunday became rightly recognized reference in the history of the club.
