EX Bamboutos star Ejenguele dies months after car accident

Bamboutos of Mbouda and the Cameroon Football fraternity is in mourning following the death of 2022 Super Cup winner, Patrice Ejenguele in Douala, November 24 2023.

The forward who delivered Bamboutos’ first silverware against Coton Sport of Garoua last year, succumbed to fractures suffered from a car accident he was involved in last August.

Ejenguele was announced dead by Griff2foot after battling for three months with a double vetebrate fracture sustained from the accident on his way from local football competition last summer.

He formed parth of the Mangwa boys team that finished 2022 Cameroon Cup finalist before spearheading their revenge against Coton Sport days later. He equally helped his side secure maximum points in the league despite not reaching the playoffs.
