Exclusive: Asante Kotoko Signs AS Fortuna’s Mbella Etouga

After having penned with Intermediate Lions Winger – Mfegue George, Asante Kotoko have now inked a three – year deal with Mbella Etouga Mbella Thierry.

Etouga will be leaving the nation’s economic capital tomorrow, to join his new teammates in Dubai for their pre season camp.

Mbella Etouga has been a revelation for AS Fortuna that ended up in third position of the Cameroon premier division this term; with the lad ending top scorer for his club.

Teenage sensation Mbella is set to illuminate the Ghanaian premiership with his instinctive finishing.

Etouga scored 3 goals and dished out an assist in the playoffs; he scored in his side’s 2-1 loss against Apejes in the semifinal, before turning on an impressive, turbo – charged performance (scoring twice and assisting another), as his team trumped Fovu 5-0 to end 3rd in the championship.

The latter was part of Ousmanou Christoph’s side that made the quarter finals of the U20 AFCON in Mauritania earlier this year.

Asante Kotoko on their part are looking to foil Hearts of Oak and re – claim the crown they won 2019.
