Exclusive: Sudan Postpone AFCON 2021 Trip

Awaited in Cameroon around 2 pm local time this Monday, December 27, team Sudan moved her journey to Tuesday, due to delay in some traveling procedures.

In fact, the team was out training on Monday morning, in the National stadium of Khartoum.

As per sportsglitz.net sources, Sudan’s delegation will arrive Cameroon at dawn tomorrow Tuesday.

Coach Burham Tia and his charges are at the AFCON finals for the first time after skipping four editions.

They defeated South Africa 2-0 on the ‘judgement day’ of the qualifiers, at the Al Hilal Stadium in Omdurman to secure their first Total Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualification since 2012 when they reached the quarter finals.

Sudan are lodged in group D alongside: Guinea Bissau, Nigeria and Egypt.
