Fadlu Davids Officially Departs Simba SC for Raja Casablanca Coaching Role
After days of speculation, South African tactician Fadlu Davids has officially stepped down as head coach of Simba SC to take the reins at Raja Club Athletic, one of North Africa’s most storied clubs. Davids was unveiled in Casablanca, marking a major shift for both clubs.
During his time at Simba SC, Davids achieved significant success, leading the team to the finals of the CAF Confederation Cup and securing a second-place finish in the Tanzania Mainland Premier League. He also built strong relationships with players and earned widespread respect for his disciplined approach.
Raja Casablanca is expecting Davids to restore the club’s former glory with his tactical expertise and familiarity with the club’s culture and expectations. The club had a disappointing campaign under Lassaad Chabbi, and Davids’ appointment is seen as a move to end the season on a high note.
