Fai Collins joins FK Sloboda as free agent

2017 AFCON winner, Fai Collins has signed with FK Sloboda, a first tier side in Bosnia.

Collins will soon be back actively playing at club level. Without a team since leaving FK Radnicki Nis, the 32-year-old midfielder has just joined the ranks of FK Sloboda Tuzla in Bosnia.

FK Sloboda are currently last in the standings with five points taken out of 19 possible.

The Cameroonian right-back arrives in Bosnia with the aim of helping FK Sloboda Tuzla get their heads out of the red zone.

It is seemingly a complicated mission given the upcoming opponents in sight. After a long solo preparation while waiting to join a new club, it is not out of the question that he will make his debut this Saturday at Dvorana SC Doboju (Stadion Luke), against FK Sloga Doboj.

This move will enhance the Cameroon international’s chances to be recalled with the Indomitable Lions ahead of World Cup qualifier games against Eswatini and Libya, ahead of game day 5 of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Fai Collins is on the good books of Belgian national coach Marc Brys. Since the gaffer’s arrival, Collins had made all lists despite not competing.
