FECAFOOT Elections: Abunde’s Landslide Margin Ensures PWD Top Delegates’ Chart

Business mogul cum PWD of Bamenda president Pascal Abunde will spear Elite One clubs to the forthcoming FECAFOOT Elections, after winning a majority of 30 votes out of 32, enough to secure a seat – in view of the highly anticipated elections, scheduled for December 11. PWD will marshal a group of 6 Elite One clubs, and 4 others in the Elite Two.

List of 6 delegates from the Elite One Championship

PWD on the 6th from the top with the most counts

  • UMS

The 4 delegates from the Elite two are;

RACING (Ascended to the Elite One)

-RENAISSANCE

NGAOUNDERE FC

FONCHA (relegated to the North West Regional League)

It has been quite a remarkable journey thus far for President Pascal Abunde who has kept on achieving accolades for the 2020 Elite One winners, off and on the pitch.

The results came through via a meeting held in Yaounde on Monday, November 8, 2021 – at the headquarters of FECAFOOT, where professional clubs appointed their representatives for the Elective General Assembly of FECAFOOT on December 11.

Yaounde Foot was in the ranks of Elite One delegates despite being relegated at the end of the season, and the same situation obtains for Racing, who ascended to the Elite One, but they appeared as representatives in the rank of Elite Two clubs.

Foncha Street, now a regional league outfit, curiously scooped a delegates’ seat amid the four Elite 2 Clubs voted.
