FECAFOOT Presidential Candidate – Samuel Eto’o and his henchmen have written a 19 page query with attachments of ‘ FECAFOOT text violation’ to the Ethics Commission of the Cameroon Football Federation, demanding the suspension for incumbent, Seidou Mbombo Njoya, and Aboubakar Alim Konate.

Extracts of the letter from Samuel Eto’o, addressed to the President of the Ethics Commission of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) on November 30, 2021,
includes: “Corruption, manipulation of matches and embezzlement,” claimed as exhibits.

The former captain of the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon, referring to the law, has there by called for the suspension of the current boss of FECAFOOT, Seidou Mbombo Njoya as well as Aboubakar Alim Konate, acting vice-president of the umbrella body of Cameroon’s football.

The crux of the matter in Eto’o’s query, lies in the ‘unlawful’ suspension and then the reinstatement of the Astres de Douala, and promising her stakeholders huge financial benefits, so they could play in the Elite Two for that 2019/20 campaign.

Samuel Eto’o and Seidou Mbombo Njoya are both candidates for the elections penciled for December 11, 2021.

Six candidates in total have been cleared by the electoral commission to take part in the forthcoming elections.

At present, the candidates are campaigning to convince the over 76 regional delegates to have their votes.

The battle has however been between these two, and promises to be breathtaking. “I am honored to be able to do this. I hope to be able to help reform the federation and take our beloved sport to a higher level, ”Eto’o informed Journalists on November 17 when he submitted his candidacy at the headquarters of the Cameroonian football authority in the Tsinga district in Yaounde.
