FECAFOOT Losses 2nd Vice President Boubakary Bello

The Cameroonian Football Federation has announced the death of one of its vice-presidents, Boubakary Bello representing the Far North region in the Executive Committee.

Boubakary Bello was an important figure in the economic and political landerneau of Maroua. He had also once been mayor of Maroua. His involvement in football was complete, since he led the Far North Regional Football League for a long time.

Under the former president of Fécafoot, Seidou Mbombo Njoya, he piloted the important Finance Commission of the federation.

According to the information in our possession, he had been hospitalized for a few days at the CNPS hospital, before he passed away. It is a huge loss for Cameroonian football. And for FECAFOOT, he was the most experienced member of the Executive Committee.

The formalization of his death was made by the President of Fécafoot, Samuel Eto’o Fils, through a press release from the institution.
