FECAFOOT Suspends Ndoko Amid ‘Moral Misconduct’ Allegations ahead of women’s U17 World Cup
The Cameroonian Football Federation (FECAFOOT) has announced the immediate suspension of the Head Coach of the national Under-17 Women’s team, Mr. Touongo Ndoko Joseph Brian, following serious allegations of “moral misconduct.”
The decision, made public via a press release (N° 075 /2025/FECAFOOT/PDT/SG) dated October 1, 2025, means that Ndoko will not accompany the national U17 women’s team to the upcoming World Cup in Morocco.
In a move to ensure continuity and a “calm preparation,” the technical leadership of the team has been swiftly entrusted to Ms. Ndoumou Mike Joséphine Mimosette. Ms. Ndoumou Mike is the Assistant Coach of the senior national women’s team, the ‘Indomitable Lionesses,’ and will now take charge of the U-17 team’s technical staff.
The U-17 women’s team is scheduled to depart tomorrow, October 2nd, for Morocco, where they are set to play three friendly matches as part of their World Cup preparations.
World Cup Group Stage Challenge
The change in technical staff comes just weeks before the start of the 2025 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup (October 17 – November 8). Cameroon’s U-17 Lionesses are drawn into a highly challenging Group B, where they will face:
Korea DPR (North Korea)
Mexico
Netherlands
FECAFOOT reaffirmed its strong stance on player protection and ethical conduct, stating its “unwavering commitment to protecting the moral and physical integrity of the players and to upholding the ethical values that underpin Cameroonian, continental, and global football,” in the release.
The release was signed by the Secretary General of FECAFOOT, Mandong Isaac Noé.
