FIFA has baned 60,000 seater capacity Moshood Abiola stadium From hosting international matches after the aftermath of the Nigeria-Ghana game.
The World Football Governing Body, FIFA has lashed out with an indefinite ban on Nigeria from hosting International matches at the Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
The punishment on Wednesday came as a result of the angry Nigeria Supporters who invaded the stadium and vandalize every useful thing they could lay their hands on following their senior team’s failure to qualify for the FIFA World Cup.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, played the second leg of the FIFA World Cup qualifier playoff against the Black Stars of Ghana at the Abuja National Stadium.
Ghana secured the ticket for the tournament with an away goal advantage.
