FIFA The Best 2021: Aboudi Onguene Stands Out

Indomitable Lionesses forward, Gabriel Aboudi Onguéne is the lone African nominated for the 2021 Women’s FIFA all star team.

The Cameroonian forward who runs her trade with Russian top flight CSKA Moscow will battle for a place on the finally list with the likes of USA’s Morgan Rapinoe, Brazil’s Marta, Alex Morgan.

Onguéne recently renewed her contract with CSKA registered a total of 11 goals and two for the Russian side and has plans of delving into coaching the side in case she retires before her contract expires.

The 32-year-old is the only African attacker to future on this year’s FIFA Pro XI norminees in both the women’s and men categories highly dominated by European footballers.
