Gazelle Bare Fangs, Reap Fortuna Into Shreds

Gazelle FA of Garoua bounced back from that defeat against Apejes Football club to beat AS Fortuna via a 3-1 margin on Saturday, Dec. 24.

The men of coach Kada Alioum who have shown that they are capable of the spectacular already this season, scored at the half hour mark.

The first goal of the game came from forward, Moustapha Adji. After the break, Gazelle FA extended their lead to two goals.

AS Fortuna waved the white flag when Gazelle added the third two minutes after the second was scored.

Calice D’or made sure of the three points for the newcomers before Mbollo Joseph climbed off the bench to pull one back at the 87th minute; his second successive goal in the league from the bench for Fortuna.

That, was pretty much that as Gazelle bounced back to winning ways. Gazelle are Second with 14 points, 4 behind group B leaders Bamboutos.

AS Fortuna meanwhile, are rock bottom in group B with just 6 points harvested in 8 games.
