Gazelle Share Spoils With Dragon FC

Dragon FC of Yaounde drew all square against Garoua based outfit Gazelle, upon resumption of the MTN Elite One championship in the weekend’s action.

Dragon arrived the North after one win in their last five, and they were up against a ruthless Gazelle side who have taken the top-tier by storm.

Just like the reversed fixture which finished one-all, the game ended in a tie (0-0) but Dragon FC should be happier with the draw after Gazelle dominated all through.

The draw maintained Gazelle on fourth position with 16 points, one ahead of Union who couldn’t capitalise on Gazelle’s drop of points, as they too lost against Les Astres.

For Dragon, they need to do something and they need it fast. Dragon are placed rock bottom with just 9 points to their credit. It doesn’t get better for the strugglers who face Fovu club of Baham next.

Gazelle will face Les Astres in the weekend’s group B action. The last time the two met, Gazelle gave Les Astres a proper 3-1 lashing in Douala.
