Gazelle Ties Bamboutos In ‘Top Of The Table Clash’

At the Mbouda Municipal stadium, Gazelle tied Bamboutos FC (0-0) in what was tagged as a ‘top of the table clash’.

Bamboutos FC of Mbouda received second placed Gazelle who were basking in glory after an utter dismantling of AS Fortuna (3-1) on match day 8.

Coach Ina Ngassa and his charges have infact had their work cut out without a win in their last 3 matches, but their ‘invincibility’ is maintained.

It was, meanwhile, a point won rather than two lost in a hostile atmosphere in Mbouda for newbies Gazelle FA.

A draw benefited Union Sportif who closed the gap in group B. Gazelle are third placed with 15 points, while Bamboutos toe the line with 19 points after 9 match days.

Gazelle, meanwhile, have picked up 7 out of their last 12 points and for newcomers, the record is extremely impressive.

Up next for Gazelle over the weekend is a trip to Dragon FC of Yaounde. Bamboutos will pit AS Fortuna who are from a relieving 1-0 win over Dragon FC.
