GPL: Etouga Wins January POTM

After an electric start to the year in only his debut season at Kotoko, Frank Etouga is sweeping accolades, and rightly so, thus says his performances.

Life couldn’t get any better for the 20 year old who was on Tuesday handed the January player of the month in the championship, with Kotoko coach, Prosper Narteh – clinching the coach of the month.

Etouga beat top competition from other players including Karela United’s Umar Bashiru and Yaw Annor to win the personal piece of recognition.

During that time, the Cameroon Under-20 international scored an astonishing five goals in four league matches with two man of the match performances.

The award was handed to the Cameroonian a day after he bagged a brace against Dreams FC to take his tally to 13 goals this season.
