Greece Super League: Kevin Soni Scores Brace As Asteras Trump Atromitos

Youngster Kevin Soni bagged a brace and provided an assist in Asteras Tripolis’ 6-2 home win against Atromitos on match day 11 of the Greek Super League.

The forward who turns 24 in April next year, simply illuminated the Theodoros Kolokolotronis stadium with his performance, though against the near – deflated Atromitos side, that was reduced to 10 – men deep (80 minutes) in the second segment.

Kevin scored the game’s opener at the 7th minute. In – between the Cameroonian’s first and third, was
Adrián Riera’s effort at the 20th minute. Soni then followed with his second at the 41st minute.

Juan Muñiz pulled one back for Atromitos, at the cusp of halftime.

After the pose, Kevin Soni assisted Francesc Regis for his team’s fourth. Two other goals from Koulouris and Riera (who equally scored a brace), piled on the misery for coach Paraschos are his side, who are bottom, and worse still, will be without Lucas Galvão in their next two fixtures, as he was shown red.

This brace meant Kevin Soni climbed to four goals in 9 games since joining the team in the summer.

Asteras are 8th in the 14 – team championship, with 13 points harvested from 11 games played.
