Guinea Beat Spirited Malawi In AFCON Group – B Opener

An Early first half goal from Issiaga Sylla and goalkeeping heroics from Aly Kieta prevented Malawi from changing matchday2 stories of 1-0 wins.

Aly Kieta was the Messiah for the West Africans, pushing over long range shots from a high spirited Flames side which lacked composure infront of goal.

Malawi took over the game following Sylla’s 10th munite goal. Muciun Mhone and Limbikani Mvaza hour mark attempts on target were saved by an alerted Guinea keeper.

Aguibou Camara retaliated for Guinea, forcing a smart double save out of Kakhobwe just before the break.
