Guiness Super League: Ebeyne Ebongue Leaves FAP For AWA

Guiness Super League holders AS AWA Football Filles have this Nov. 18th landed indomitable Lionesses midfeilder Ebeyne Ebongue from Amazone FAP.

Ebeyne is returning to the club she learned her trade a couple of years back.

Known for her trademark out – side – of the boot pass, Ebeyne was a nominee for Guiness Super League player of the season at the awards held this term, alongside Tabe Brenda, Éliane Bibout amid others.

Financial details and the duration of the deal is unknown, but the club confirmed the midfeilder’s capture, on their Facebook handle;

‘Let us welcome Ebeyne Ebongue, former player of Amazone FAP. Welcome back home – madam,’ AWA FF aired.

A sister to Intermediate Lions midfeilder, Richard Ebongue, Ebeyne is from a football family with a traceable background of sports, from their parents.

It has been quite a fruitful window for coach Ibrahim Hassan who has quite a roster to pick out from, when the season is announced.

Earlier on, 7 players including Cicilia Mogai and Lamine Mana joined in.

AS AWA will be Cameroon’s representatives at the second edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League. Louves Minproff got knocked out in this year’s prelims of the champions league, by Malabo Kings. AS AWA are shaping up to do better next term.
