H.E Alassane Ouattara’s incredible message to Elephants ahead of AFCON final

The AFCON 2023 final is currently ongoing. President of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, Alassane Ouattara has sent his message of support to the Elephants before facing Nigeria.

Despite a very difficult course, Cote D’Ivoire held on to be at this stage – to play the AFCON 2023 final against Nigeria, at the Alassane Ouattara Olympic stadium in Ebimpé.

“The trophy must stay at home”, is the watchword and that is what has been said in the streets of Abidjan since the start of the competition.

“Come on Elephants! You have the unwavering support of the entire Nation. We believe in you and your ability to take on this new challenge. Make this day a day of celebration!”, he posted on his Facebook page.

Cote D’Ivoire and Nigeria have already met in the group stage of this AFCON, where the Super Eagles who won (1-0) thanks to the penalty converted by captain William Troost-Ekong.
