Union Sportive of Douala demonstrated a superb comeback on Matchday-3 to seal victory against Bamboutos of Mbouda thanks to an exhilarating performance from Seine Hamit who scored this season’s maiden hattrick.

The five goal thriller came barely six days, after Dynamo peeped new city rivals Astre at the Reunification Stadium. But, this time around, it was last season’s runner-up, Bamboutos at the recipient end.

Katche Boris responded well with his second goal in two starts after Union, from defeat to Gazelle and draw with Colombe, knew what was at stake had gone up in the first 90seconds.

No nets were shaked in the rest of the first period following both goals scored inside the opening 10minutes. This meant a pregnant second half.

It was indeed topsy-turvy when Hamit, for the second time placed Union ahead but only for the Nassara Gamamakai to go a man down when Kouoh Dicka received a red at the hour mark.

Asare Bediako made use of his numerical superiority to press on for an equalizer which came eight minutes after the red card incident to level 2-2 through Awuah Kwasi.

However, the Mangwa Boys will suffer a similar fate after a tranquil closing stages in which Donatien Tachami got the second red, amounting to the tenth booking of the match.

As fans sort for security from flash rains, Seine Hamit rose to a spectacular, at the dead of time to seal all points for Union Sportive and complete his hattrick.

Bamboutos now face a resilient AS Fortuna on Day-4 while Union plays host lackluster Aigle Royal of Menoua.
