High Effervescence As Buea United’s Second Congress Lurks

Buea United Football Club will hold its second congress since birth on April 8 at the Eta Palace hotel, as from 5 pm local time.

The club currently under the stewardship of President Kadji Valery has witnessed a drastic change for over 3 seasons and counting, and in all fairness, fans and stakeholders are liking what they see.

From performances to branding and investment in youth football, it is quite a period to be a Buea United fan as the wind of change continues to blow.

With hundreds of supporters last term, the club was able to raise quite a sum that took them through to the SW playoffs.

Despite unerring performances on the pitch – in all competitions: Cup and championship, the team led by coach Agbor Emmanuel stylized ‘Alabas’ was paired in a difficult pool B in the SW regional championship playoffs.

Paired against Best Stars, Continental and EEMSA, the lads gave a good account of themselves in group B.

One admirable fact about the club, is her fan base. Make no mistake, Buea United is not at the level of; PWD, Aigle or Bamboutos (top-tier sides), but for a third-tier side, they have the ability to bring down roofs on match days.
