Indomitable Lionesses Open Camp In Auckland

The Indomitable Lionesses have started their acclimatization course in New Zealand where they will take part in the 2023 Intercontinental Women’s World Cup play-off tournament.

Having left Cameroon on January 30, the first badge of players checked in at the Hilton hotel in the city of Auckland in New Zealand, on Wednesday February 1.

After a day of rest, the Lionesses had their first training session on Thursday and February, under the stewardship of coach Gabriel Zabo, as indicated by FECAFOOT.

The group of 7 players which is yet to be complete, will have foreign-based players arriving in the days ahead, from their respective clubs.

Two training sessions were carried out on Friday 3rd. The first in the morning (11 a.m. local time) and a second at 6:00 pm.

The Indomitable Lionesses will face Thailand and if they win, they will play for a qualifying ticket against Portugal on February 18 and 22 respectively.
