Indomitable Lions’ job vacancy: COLD WAR between FECAFOOT-MINSEP sees 6 names shortlisted
There is seemingly a cold war in the offing between the Cameroon Football Federation and ministry of sports and Physical Education, as the search for a new coach intensifies.
While a takeover of the file by the ministry of sports and physical education was announced, FECAFOOT has decided not to let go.
Jeune Afrique with sources at the ministry published a list of three favorites to take on the job, including: Antonio Conceiçao, Hugo Bross and Hervé Renard, but “Les Temps”, with sources close to the federation, released another shortlist, this time, with sources at FECAFOOT.
Antoine Kombouaré, Jürgen Klinsmann and Raymon Domenech are the three coaches shortlisted by the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT), and handed to the presidency.
It is crystal clear that FECAFOOT wishes to play its part in the choice of future boss of the Indomitable Lions.
Hence, there are now 6 names, coming from very reliable sources.
However, as it was reiterated in the president’s youth day speech, it is H.E Paul Biya who will decide the future coach of the Indomitable Lions.
The head of state will be called upon to be the arbiter of the somewhat cold war between FECAFOOT and MINSEP.
