Jean-Éric Moursou joins Valenciennes
Jean-Éric Moursou has joined French Ligue 2 side Valenciennes from Elite One holders, Cotonsport FC.
After Léonel Ateba, another Cameroonian talent is leaving the Elite One Championship.
The Cameroonian midfielder is the latest acquisition of Valenciennes Fc in Ligue 2.
Aged 19, Moursou was
crowned revelation of the 2022/2023 Elite One season.
The youngster follows in the footsteps of Vincent Aboubakar, whose first transfer out of Cameroon came via Valenciennes.
Last in the championship with 14 points, Valencienne is now fighting for maintenance.
So far, nothing has filtered out on the duration of the contract, not even the transfer amount.
The 23rd day of Ligue 2 is scheduled for Saturday, February 3. Winners against Bastia (3-1) on game day 22, Valenciennes will try to follow-up at the Moustoir – Yves Allainma stadium against Concarneau.
