Jean Manuel Mbom Picks Indomitable Lions Over National Mannschaft

Called up to the German U-21 selection, the German born midfeilder of Cameroonian decent – Jean Manuel Mbom has by his action, made his intentions clear.

Jean Manuel Mbom, 21, has been in Germany’s youth selections since he was 14, but seems to have finally made the decision to play for the Cameroon national team.

Recently called to play for the U21 selection of Germany, the German-Cameroonian denied the call.

His coach revealed that this decision is due to the fact that the 21-year-old would like to play for Cameroon.

According to the German media kicker, the midfielder of SV Werder Bremen is in full reflection and would consider changing sports nationality for the Cameroon national selection.

According to FIFA regulations, he would have faced difficulties changing associations if he had been used in international matches against San Marino and Latvia. The passage reads.

Mbom celebrated his 21st birthday earlier this February. The Bremen player had already made two international appearances for the German Under-21 national team.

Due to his father’s Cameroonian origin, Mbom apparently wants to keep his chances of making the indomitable Lions squad.
