Jerome Onguene Starts In Salzburg’s Draw Against Rakow
23 year old Jerome Onguene was part of the RB Salzburg side that recovered from two down, to pull a parity (2-2) against Polish side Rakow Czestochowa.
The 23 year old center half started the friendly game, and showed great character alongside teammates, to come from two – down and even the game up.
Rakow Czestochowa scored a penalty at the 4 minute, through Igor Sapała’s fourth minute converted penalty, before Musiolik extended the lead for the visitors, at the half hour mark.
Jerome Onguene and co however changed the narrative in the second half as Karim Adeyemi scored three minutes from the stat of the second half to halve the deficit, and Ludewig completed the comeback for the Austrian juggernauts.
The game was probably the last dress rehearsal before Salzburg play the first round of the OSB Cup against Hertha.
Onguene has played a little under a century of matches for his side, scoring 11 goals in the process.
