Jerome Onguene Starts As Salzburg Draw First League Game

Indomitable Lions sweeper Jerome Onguene was in the thick of the action as his RB Salzburg side shared the spoils for the first time this campaign in the Austrian Bundesliga.

It was the first time that the Austrian juggernauts failed to win this season.

Salzburg, on Saturday traveled to the Cashpoint arena where they faced a resolute Altach side on match day 11, battling against relegation.

Swiss professional player Noah Okafor got the Salzburg outfit going but a 14th minute strike from Jan Zwischenbrugger, changed the dynamic of the game.

Onguene however, still managed to steal some of the game’s highlights with his elite defending skills.

After a shaky start, Jerome Onguene has now settled as the undisputed first choice center – half for head – coach Matthias Jaissle.

Up next for the 23 year old is champions league football. Onguene and co play Wolfsburg in group G where they lead already with 4 points.
