John Mary Scores Avispa’s Lone Goal Against Oita

John Mary made the difference on Wednesday by netting the solitary goal that turned out to be the winner against Oita Trinata in the J1 League, as Avispa went on to win 1-0.

It was the Cameroonians John fifth goal of the season.

Talk about patience; his fifth goal had to come a month after his fourth goal, but it was of utter importance as it led his side to victory.

With the victory, Avispa occupy the 8th place in the ranking after 34 match days in the Japanese Championship.

Avispa still has four games to go till the end of the J1 League but bottom of the log – Yokohama FC is the team John Mary and co are up against on Sunday Nov. 7.
