Junior Tchamadeu returns to stoke side with MOTM award against Swansea
Junior Tchamadeu was the silver lining on game day 21 of the English Championship, despite Stoke City cursing themselves with another late goal to throw away a win against Swansea City.
Tchamadeu’s teammate, Daniel Johnson danced to the penalty spot to put the Potters ahead past mid-way through the second half and they just seemed so comfortable at that point in a game between two managerless sides very short on form and confidence.
However, Stoke contrived to gift Swansea an equaliser in the 89th minute when Jack Bonham flapped at a Matt Grimes corner and Harry Darling got higher than Ki-Jana Hoever to head into the open net. One-one. It is now five games in a row that Stoke have let in a game-defining goal so late.
For cameroonian international Junior Tchamadeu, it was his scintillating display that earned him the man of the match award.
The 20-year-old received big cheers for a recall after two months of absence.
Aggressive at times playing high on the right and, although quite raw, useful to have someone keen to make things happen, fans were impressed with his energetic performance.
Junior Tchamadeu is rated highly for team Cameroon less than a month to the AFCON, with regular right back, Fai Collins still without club, since he left Saudi over the summer.
