Just In: Agbor Emmanuel, Frankline Tangiri and Graham Mbong Land Pro. Contracts In Poland
Forwards Tangiri Frankline (20), Agbor Emmanuel (18), and Metuk Graham Mbong (19) have sealed deals with Polish side Miedz Legnica.
As per sportaglitz.net sources, the three strikers have penned deals for three seasons and half, with financial details yet to be aired.
All three forwards, School – Boys of South West regional championship side CINYODEV FA, have been in Poland for over two months, before putting pen to paper – this Friday Nov. 26.
Flying winger Tangiri Frankline plied in Cameroon’s premier division for two full seasons, where he continued his growth from CINYODEV, with YOSA. Tangiri scored two goals last season for Yong Sports Academy, including a sublime finish against 2021 Cameroon Cup finalists – Astres.
The lad is quick on his feet and has a beating one v one against defenders. Tangiri thrives with balls in – spaces – in – behind, and to crown his wing – ‘magic’, are his crossing abilities. Miedz Legnica and coach Dominic Nowak will be salivating over the arrival of the Nkambe native.
Goal – poacher Metuk Graham has been unarguably one of the most consistent strikers over the years in the SW regional championship, keeping aside the sudden rise of a certain Bache Manfred at the just ended season.
Graham has played virtually all his life at CINYODEV FA prior to his joining Miedz Legnica. Greham emerged top – goal scorer at the 2021 SW mini Interpool, a tournament he and his mates missed out on the final due to goal returns, after a dead rubber in pool B, arrived at, with beaten finalists – LIFCA.
For Agbor Emmanuel, he was a revelation for YOSA last season. The forward’s low center of gravity, mixed with pace and agility, makes him a ‘gem,’ in the words of coach Nkabyo Martin.
The latter blossomed in the lower – tiers just like Tangiri, before getting courted and taken by YOSA. Agbor managed 7 goals in his debut campaign in the top – flight, an achievement even the greats will be proud of.
Emmanuel Agbor is the youngest of the 3 three players, but one cannot be deceived by the age, as he has shown time and again, that, he can lead the strike force to good effects.
Meidz Legnica is a power house in Polish football, with a succinct history path. As things stand at the I Liga, they lead the championship with 38 points after 19 match days.
The club was founded in 1971, and they aim to win the Polish I Liga for the second time in their history after they did so, in the 2017/18 campaign.
