Just In: Gabriel Fils Penda Joins Spanish Side Cadiz

Having initially left the country from boyhood club AS Futuro of Mfou for Austrian top-tier side Cadiz, former under – 20 Lions skipper, Gabriel Penda has just inked Spanish La Liga side Cadiz for 5 years.

The lad has been training with Cadiz for over a fortnight and more, and has now managed to convince the 2020/2021 la Liga – mid – table side of his qualities.

The defender who could cover as a holding midfeilder played the African Nations Championship in his native Cameroon in January and managed to bulk up some appearances for the intermediate Lions on their way to a fourth place finish.

The former AS Fortuna sweeper was equally instrumental in Ousmanou Christoph’s side as they grabbed the UNIFFAC tourney.

Cadiz are 12th in the La Liga table this term after 3 matches after picking up two points from a possible 9.
