Karl Toko Ekambi Partners With UCB

Indomitable Lions forward Karl Toko Ekambi has signed a deal with Brewery company, Union Camerounaise de Brasseries (UCB) as an ambassador, with the company set to turn 50, later this year.

A well known brand, the Cameroonian beverage company (UCB) most recently signed up with CAF as the national supporters of the TotalEnergies African Cup of Nations, Cameroon 2021.
The status of ‘National Supporter’ meant UCB was the official and exclusive suppliers of mineral water, soft drinks and beer beverages for the duration of the competition in January.

Karl Toko Ekambi is a great pick as the company’s Ambassador.

The latter made Cameroonian fans to bask earlier this month.

After missing out on 2018 in Russia for the World Cup, Cameroon returned to the big stage for the eighth time in their history. Karl Toko Ekambi made the difference at the 124th-minute goal against Algeria to get a 2-1 win and book their spot in Qatar in the dying seconds of the match.

Ekambi equally scored 5 goals in the 2021 AFCON in January, ending second in the scorers’ chart. 29-year-old Ekambi started playy for Cameroon in 2015. He has scored 11 times in 49 caps. The partnership is set to be a win-win one.
