Leonel Wamba Is Back Among The Goals With Jurmala

Leonel Wamba Djouffo scored a brace for his side FK Spartaks Jurmala on Sunday July 4, against Metta/LU in an advanced match day 15 fixture of the Latvian first-tier.

The game ended 3-0 in favour of the visitors.

The former Under-17 Cameroon international is back among the goals, after playing BSV Dugavpils and failing to score on match day 14.

Wamba, 18, scored the opener and delivered ‘coup de grace’ before at the 72, and 90 minute.

Teammate Adam Markhiyev’s goal was sandwiched between the first and last of Leonel Wamba’s goals, as Spartaks Jurmala continue their fine recent form.

They have now won four out of five games, and Wamba’s eye for goal is beginning to light up as well with three goals in his last three games.

Spartaks Jurmala are placed fifth at the moment with 18 points out of 15 games. The team will be looking to better their 6 place finish last term. There are 12 more matches to the end of the season.
