Ligue 1: Toko Ekambi Returns With A Goal For OL

Ekambi helped Olympique Lyonnais dominate and logically defeat Nice in their Ligue 1 fixture on Saturday February 12.

Moussa Dembele and Karl Toko Ekambi scored the two goals for OL, who saw off Nice.

The collective performance from the men of Peter Bosz was commendable and slick for the first time in a while, with prolly the return of Karl Toko Ekambi helping matters.

Ekambi made things happen down the flanks with great activity from the winger.

Toko-Ekambi was ultra active on his left side putting Nice Flavius Daniluc in great difficulty. The latter scored on a great collective action, and he was the most incisive and dangerous Lyon player in his first start for the club since early January.

The former Villarreal man scored his sixth goal of the season, in the league.

It crowns all that has been a superb run of form for the erstwhile Angers striker, who scored 5 goals for the Lions in the just ended AFCON, for Cameroon.

The win meant Lyon tastes success again after a schock defeat to Monaco last weekend.

OL are 6 points behind Olympique Marseille, who face Metz this Sunday at 9 p.m.
