Lobe’s Fouth Goal Of The Season Gives Avion A First League Win

Avion Academy of Nkam registered their first league win of the MTN Elite One season after defeating PWD of Bamenda one-nil at the Japoma Annex B, on Sunday Nov. 6.

The Nkam outfit drowned a huge contingent of PWD fans after a converted penalty by Pange Lobe mid-way through the first half.

Before Lobe’s converted penalty that had goalkeeper Bello on his back, Njoya, a makeshift left back converted to play as a center forward by coach Nseme, missed an absolute sitter.

Avion escaped unscathed despite PWD prolly playing better on the day, as the boys of coach Ngambe David took away all 3 points.

PWD have not been able to draw a game this season. Its been: LLWL for the blue half of Bamenda. Up next for them is a trip to Bafoussam, where they are set to take on former coach, David Pagou and his revamped Aigle side.
