Magyar Kupa: Yahaya Pops Up To Help Ujpest Secure A Semis Spot

Abdoulaye Yahaya, 20, scored in Ujpest’ 3-2 away win on Bekescba’s patch in the Magyar Kupa on Wednesday March 2.

The youngster made his way in for an injured Yohan Croizet and the Substitution paid off big time as he scored his first goal in the competition.

The Ex Apejes creative midfeilder scored at the 38th minute of play after
Krisztián Simon had given Ujpest the lead, though – Tamás Ilyés equalised for Bekescba minutes after.

Yahaya’s goal was followed by Bjelos’ at the 56th minute as he made it three – one for the visitors, and even a goal at the 77th minute from the home side, courtesy
Daniel Toth, counted for nothing, as the game ended 3-2 for Ujpest.

Ujpest will thus compete in the semis for a spot in the cup finals against Gyor or Fehervar depending on who gets the nod tomorrow March 4.
